Biographical information

I was born in 1971 in Pernik, Bulgaria

From September 1986 to June 1990 I studied at The Technical School for Energies in Sofia, Bulgaria

Title of course - Maintenance and Repair of Cars and Fork-lift Trucks

From October 1990 to October 1996 I studied at The Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria

Title of course - Design and Building of Cars and Fork-lift Trucks

After graduation from University, I started work as a freelance design engineer and from the beginning of 1998 I joined forces with Ralt Engineering Ltd to lead the design of the Ralt F399 Formula 3 car for the 1999-2001 period.

In the beginning of 2001 I started employment at Ralt Engineering Ltd as Chief Designer and led the design of the Ralt F302 Formula 3 car for the 2002-2004 period.

In 2004 I was involved in the design of the SLC R1 Formula 3 car working on the mechanical components and packaging of the car as Ralt Engineering Ltd was hired to provide consultancy services to the Italian company SLC srl.

During all this time I was also working on various conceptual projects and design studies that have their own space on this website too.

In July 2005 I once again took the job of the freelance engineer working on various race car projects.

In July 2006 I joined the Super Aguri F1 team as a suspension design engineer and worked there till the end of January 2007 at which point I took an offer from the French sports prototype manufacturer Courage Competition leading the development program of their Le Mans cars.

After the company was bought over by another sports car company, I started again my freelance work and since then have worked on two NASCAR type car projects for cars intended to race in their own race series and a French Formula 3 development project.

In January 2009 I joined one of the leading Formula 1 teams as a senior design engineer working on various suspension projects.
